How did I end up as a hairstylist, you ask?

 I went into high school with no plan for my future whatsoever and signed up for a cosmetology class to learn how to do my two sisters, my moms, and my own hair. That was my initial goal.

What happened over the next three years was that I absolutely fell in love ❤️ with the beauty industry. I learned how to cut and color hair and I was good at it. 🥰 

My two cosmetology teachers Michelle + Tanya were the best mentors! Making my confidence soar by giving me any client knowing I knew my stuff and could handle whatever was thrown at me, anything from a perm to a full head of foils. I got this! 😉

Fun Fact - I am a country girl at heart. I love 💗 western fashion, hair and makeup.  This inspires me to want to recreate the styles, cuts and colours of country singers, old or new. I know them all! 

I enjoy travelling 🧳 whether it’s a day trip for a hike or a spontaneous drive with friends to B.C. I love getting out on the open road and my soul is in the 🏔 mountains. 

 I try to go as often as I can.

I love all things country - the fashion, the ranching, the mountain riding, the bonding with your animals. I enjoy and appreciate everything about it. In the summer, I am at a rodeo almost every weekend competing in women's ranch bronc riding, where I am sometimes called Rodeo Barbie. A perfect blend of my two favorite things: Bronc Riding and Hairstyling! 

I am a very artistic 🎨 person and love to paint. Maybe that is why I love being a hairstylist. 😂  

My friends describe me as passionate about doing the right thing. I am the person that will go the extra mile to see things through and I will make sure everyone is treated like a real friend. I’m someone that likes to pursue life’s  goals but I won’t leave people out. C’mon it’s more fun 🤩 when you bring your friends along for the ride. 

I am also described as easy to talk to and hardworking, but I also know how to have fun when the time is right. 

I have a very organized chaos brain and can get distracted easily. I can have 7 tabs open and somehow manage to get all of the tasks done.  ✅ Lists are my best friend. 

I love meeting new people and learning about everyone's life journeys while making them feel beautiful and their best selves. 

My absolute favourite thing about this industry is when my client finally does something they have wanted to do for a long time. Whether it's a drastic hair colour change or doing a fresh new cut. Seeing the excitement on their face is so rewarding.
