How did I end up as a hairstylist, you ask?

I have loved beauty my whole life. Since I was hired in a salon at 17 years old, hairdressing has always been a job that doesn’t feel like a job! Once I discovered the salon life, I found a mentor (thank you Tammy), worked really hard and I am now having an amazing career. 

Being a hairstylist combines all of my unique talents...

I take the time- I will teach you HOW to do your hair and how to update the way you do it at home to keep you in style. I can give you advice and direction for your hairstyle.

I can read people- I take cues on what kind of person you are. The way I approach your appointment is to listen to your hair history and help you develop your hair goals. This is your appointment! If you want to talk a lot, we can and if you are the type to sit back and relax, then we can do that too. I have enough experience to know where you are coming from.

My interests include hot weather & sunshine ☀️ on beaches and pool days with my kids and husband. We live for holidays to the ocean and summer trips to Phoenix for the pool and shopping. During the winter, I enjoy collecting recipes, lighting candles, and putting on the Oiler game. 

I spend time making a caring home for my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, which I am happy to do as long as I get the odd night out on the town with the girls! I recharge with hot baths and beauty products. In the tub is where I do all of my best thinking.

I work to my own rhythm! I have always done “my own thing”  😉 since I was a little girl. Most of the time I like that about myself, but sometimes it is something I have to work on!

I approach every service with kindness, humour and education. I appreciate the beauty in others and will work with you. Your goals are my goals. 

I place high value on helping you so you can have different looks with your style. I get that some days we need a loose beachy air-dried look and other times call for super styled hair with volume. Either way, if you are embracing your natural texture or going for a smooth look, you can guarantee I will show you how to achieve both, and which Aveda products can get the job done. 

I chose this career because it is rewarding- I love ❤️ to give you some pep in your step. I am learning we are never too old for anything and I work to have you look 5 years younger rather than 5 years older!
